Dr. Bino Oommen, M.D.

“Taking a holistic approach to medicine is much more therapeutic than just prescribing medications. It starts with taking the time to talk with patients, seeing them eye to eye, respecting their concerns, and involving them in decision-making. At times, words can never explain how a patient completely feels, however the comfort that someone is willing to work together in solving there medical issues is much more important.”

Bino Oommen, M.D. has been in the medical field since 1996. He began his journey at the Methodist Debakey Heart and Vascular Center, basic sciences in the Dutch Netherlands-Antilles, and completed clinical medicine rotations at Cook County Hospital in Chicago.

Dr. Oommen has completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Lutheran General Hospital. His principal focus is on primary prevention, Internal Medicine, cardiovascular disease screening and is involved in alternative medicine and natural healing as well. His philanthropic outreach in supporting International Medical Education and participating in the World Health Organization’s fight to end curable disease has improved the outlook for humanity.
